Ampofo Darko’s research group is interested in research at the interface of synthetic organic and organometallic chemistry, with a particular focus on developing efficient and selective catalysts through novel ligand design concepts. Ampofo received his B.S. degree from Guilford College and carried out his graduate studies at the University of Florida under the direction of Prof. Lisa McElwee-White. He then performed postdoctoral research with Prof. Joseph Fox at the University of Delaware.
