Cora MacBeth

Cora MacBeth’s research group is interested in synthetic inorganic chemistry, catalyst design, and sustainable synthesis.  Her group uses a variety of electrochemical and spectroscopic techniques to probe chemical transformations. Dr. MacBeth has also worked with interdisciplinary teams to increase participation in undergraduate research initiatives. She has also conducted research aimed at understanding the factors that affect STEM graduate student transitions into the non-academic workforce.  Cora received her Ph.D. degree working with Dr. Andrew Borovik at the University of Kansas. She conducted her postdoctoral research studies with Jonas Peters at Caltech.
