Dylan Anstine
Michigan State University - formerly at Carnegie Mellon University
Dr. Anstine was a postdoctoral research scientist in the Isayev group at Carnegie Mellon University. His main research focused on developing machine learned interatomic potentials (MLIPs), which are models that approximate the solution to quantum chemical calculations, to conduct high-throughput reaction characterization. In addition to MLIP research, he also actively worked on developing reinforcement learning algorithms for autonomous operation of robotic chemical synthesis platforms.
He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Chemical Engineering and Materials Science Department at Michigan State University.
