Evan is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Gomes group at Carnegie Mellon University, working to use machine learning for reaction discovery and optimization tasks. They obtained their PhD from the University of California - Berkeley, where they developed and applied computational methods to autonomously explore complex reaction cascades.
