Luca is a postdoctoral researcher in the Sarpong Lab at UC Berkeley. He is interested in the development of new tools that simplify the task of complex molecule synthesis. This includes the application of computational tools to the discovery and optimization of complexity generating synthetic steps in natural product total synthesis efforts. Additionally, he is interested in the development of computer-assisted retrosynthesis and its application toward complex molecules.
