Michael Groves

Dr. Groves’ independent research agenda at California State University Fullerton (CSUF), includes modeling heterogeneous reactions over metals and 2D materials, material properties of diamond-based electronics, machine learning in global optimization search methods for discovering new materials, and chemical education. He received his PhD from the Royal Military College of Canada in 2012 under the supervision of Dr. Cécile Malardier-Jugroot and Dr. Manish Jugroot. He also participated in a post-doctoral fellowship at Aarhus University in Denmark performing research with Prof. Bjørk Hammer.
