Miriam Krause's work focuses on student/postdoc support and community building within the NSF Center for Sustainable Nanotechnology, with efforts that span career preparation, mentoring, science communication, and broadening participation in STEM through coordination with the CSN's Wellness, Equity, and Liberation Consultant, Dr. Della Mosley. Miriam earned her BA in geology at Pomona College and PhD in speech-language-hearing sciences studying cognitive-communication effects of traumatic brain injury in adults at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. Prior to her current role, she was an Assistant Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
