Olexandr Isayev
Associate Professor
Carnegie Mellon University
Olexandr Isayev's research group works at the interface of theoretical chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences and computer science. We are working towards the acceleration of molecular discovery by the combination of AI, informatics and high-throughput quantum chemistry. We also focus on both generative and predictive ML models for chemical data. Olexandr received his Ph.D. in computational chemistry. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Case Western Reserve University and a scientist at the government research lab. During 2016-2019 he was a faculty member at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
