Marshall Fixman & Branka Ladanyi Professor in Chemistry
Department of Chemistry, Colorado State University

Rob Paton's research interest are in the general area of computational organic chemistry, especially the development of tools for the automated analysis of electronic structure calculations and the generation of quantitative structure-property relationships particularly for flexible molecules. He is also interested in different aspects of computer-aided catalyst design. Rob received his his PhD in 2008 with Jonathan Goodman in Cambridge and performed postdoctoral research with Ken Houk at UCLA. Before moving to Colorado State, he held a University Lectureship at the University of Oxford.
