Simone is a postdoctoral researcher in the Sigman Lab at the University of Utah and in the Doyle Group at UCLA. He is developing computational workflows that leverage state-of-the-art mechanism-guided quantum mechanical tools with mechanism-agnostic data science techniques to elucidate catalytic reaction mechanisms and optimize reaction outputs.
