Sojung Kim is a graduate student in the Sarpong Group at the University of California Berkeley. She is interested in developing new skeletal editing strategies for cyclic amines and enantioselective transformations of iminium ions. To this end, Sojung aims to leverage computer-assisted synthesis, mechanistic interrogation, and optimization to streamline novel method development and complex natural product synthesis.
