Wei Wang

Wei Wang’s research is focused on data mining, machine learning, AI systems and data science, with applications to natural language processing, network science, as well as computational biology, computational chemistry, computational medicine. She is a professor of Computer Science and Computational Medicine at UCLA and the director of the Scalable Analytics Institute (ScAI). Wei Wang received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at UCLA and was a research staff member at IBM Watson Research Center and a professor at UNC Chapel Hill before she rejoined UCLA.
